Field Scheduling 101:
Field Schedules can be found here or on the Arlington Village website: http://www.villageofarlington.com
Scroll over the Rec. Council tab and click on the “Baseball/Softball Field Schedule” in the drop down menu.
Practice on the same night as games if possible.
Weekday time slots are 4:00-5:30PM, 5:30-7:00PM, and 7:00-8:30PM.
Saturday time slots are 8:00am – 10:00am, 10:00 – 12:00pm, & 12:00 – 2:00pm.

Mary Price is to also receive your HOME game schedules and assign fields for your HOME games. Please turn in your home game schedule only just as soon as you receive them. Please don’t make her sort through your entire league schedule to find and schedule your home games.
The field schedule on this web site is always “Live” as soon as updates are made.
In case of field scheduling conflicts, prioritization occurs by high school varsity/JV team(s) first, Games over practices, then tournament play has priority over regular season play, then highest age level gets field priority, then date of request. (occasionally/rarely happens). All efforts are made to please everyone, but if a conflict can not be resolved by the field scheduler, then the Baseball and Softball commissioners will work it out.
It is advisable to try and schedule at least one game under the lights on field 2 if you are able. The kids love playing under the lights at dark. Ideally this is the best time for any two Arlington teams squaring off against each other. Even if the two teams are not scheduled to play each other on the league schedule, no one says you can’t play games outside of your league schedule.
